Jim is amazing! He tackled some unique projects for our 100 year house and seemed to really enjoy the challenge. He's reshaped warped doors, put up dry-wall and helped us refinish our basement, patched concrete window wells and outdoor steps, built a custom cabinet to cover a sewage pipe, and shored up a swingset-I really think he can do it all. He is a craftsman and takes pride in his work. He was eager to share about how he approached each project so we understood the work that was being completed. He is also a true craftsman and artist and takes pride in his work. I highly recommend Jim!

I brought a 130+ year old Chinese wedding cabinet in pretty poor condition to Jim for repairs and restoration. Through his meticulousness, attention to detail and outstanding craftsmanship, he was able to restore the functionality of the cabinet while still keeping the integrity of its original construction. He painstakingly worked to repair years of damage and added stabilizing elements that will help keep it intact and beautiful for years to come! He made sure to keep me involved and updated by sending progress photos and touching base with me throughout the process. I am so very grateful to have found him and highly recommend Jim to anyone in need of furniture repair or restoration!

I am delighted by the quality of your work. Your craftmanship is outstanding. These chairs were destined to be thrown out by my family member until I rescued them. They were in such poor condition that the could no longer be used without them collapsing. You rebuilt them and made them so structurally sound that they will be handed down, once again, to the next generation. Thank you for working with me to get the upholstery adjusted. I would not hesitate to recommend you to anyone looking to have their heirlooms restored.

Jim is an amazing woodworker.
We have a oak dining room set that has been in my family for years. The chairs needed some repairs. The joints had gotten loose and one of the dowels had broken inside the leg.
Jim communicated with us all during the repair process.
He did the repairs quick and at a fair price for the amount of work needed.
I will be using Jim in the future for more woodworking projects.

My family and I use essential oils daily, we looked high and low for a organizer and there was nothing on the market that fit our family’s needs. So we gave Jim a general idea of what we wanted and he came up with the perfect organizer for us!

Jim has been working for me on and off for over 10 years and i cannot recommend his professionalism enough. The quality of his work is outstanding. He has built me beautiful wall unit for my vinyl and done a complete restoration of my kitchen. On the commercial side he has done everything from building me storage cabinets, wooden gates for my patio, giant jenga sets for my patio, my liquor cabinets at my bar….etc. Whatever he puts his mind to he can do and produce something for you better than you imagined. He is a very skilled woodworker and he can bring new life to older faded and damaged pieces.
